Recurring Social Posts - Now with Category Queues
December 19, 2024

We've had the ability to create and schedule recurring social media posts in the JourneyCARE Social Planner for a while now, but the latest update has added Category Queues.

This means that you can create schedules that automatically post from items that you've placed into a specific category.

You might think of it as having an "inventory" of posts on a specific topic and every Wednesday at Noon (or whenever you've designated), something gets automatically pulled from that category to be posted.

This is a great way to resurrect helpful posts that you've used in the past so that it can be useful to people again.

If you use Canva - the extremely popular graphic design tool - today's announcement is likely one you've been eagerly awaiting. Canva integration is finally here! Yes, we've had a link over to the Canva site inside accounts for a while, but now you have quick and seamless integration to Canva-created graphics directly inside your Media Library. You'll find the connection button in the Media Library, next to the Google Drive button. Do a one-time "Connect", choose your Canva account, say Yes to the required permissions, and grant access. The video above shows some screenshots to walk you through. Once you are connected, you can directly access any graphics that you've created in Canva and you can also choose to edit any existing image in Canva. The whole process is quick, easy, and seamless. Check it out and let us know what you think!

Since rolling out the Community feature in JourneyCARE, we've discovered that organizations fall into two difference preferences. There are some that want every group member to have some sort of photo on their profile and there are others that do not care about such things and just want to get people into the group with as little friction as possible. So now we've made it possible for you to toggle the photo requirement on or off based on how you'd like it to work.
